The Mark Wainwright Analytical Centre (MWAC) sees the colocation of major research instrumentation in the university in purpose-built high-grade facilities for the study of the structure and composition of biological, chemical and physical materials. MWAC is dedicated to supporting scientific research through innovation, creativity and technology. Our experienced team has extensive knowledge to meet a range of client needs with the following capabilities providing high quality results and access to unique facilities:

The Chemical Consulting Laboratory (CCL) is the commercial arm of the Analytical Centre linking leading-edge analytical expertise to the needs of government agencies, industry, the legal profession and private individuals. By using the unique facilities of UNSW, which house a huge range of analytical instrumentation, we combine recognised expertise together with practical experience to collaborate with industry to solve analytical problems and provide solutions to create change in industry.
